Lots of Toilet paper rolls laying around at the moment? No worries they are a key staple in our camp craft supplies! So get the toilet paper rolls, get the kids and get creative with these easy DIY binoculars.
Supplies:
2 toilet paper rolls
construction paper
masking tape
yarn
scissors
hole punch (optional)
1. Start with 2 toilet paper rolls and tape them together with masking tape.
2. Next you will prep to wrap the construction paper around the toilet paper rolls. Cut the construction paper to the length of the toilet paper rolls. Then, my boys love to color the construction paper to “design” their binoculars.
3. Wrap the construction paper around the binoculars and secure with masking tape.
4. Punch a hole on the outside of both toilet paper rolls.
5. Tie the yarn through each hole so your binoculars can hang. Now embrace your inner explorer, even enjoy a game of eye spy with your handy dandy binoculars!
